Surf For Local is an advanced co-operative advertising & promotions network for websites. We offer Free & Paid membership levels!
Participate in our two internal networks and it will show your ads to our 4 external exchanges literally reaching hundreds of thousand viewers beyond our members list.
Simply join, place your site, text ads and your banner advertisements in our 2
internal exchanges. Once approved you can either surf to receive free advertising
or pay for ad credits so you do not have to surf or surf as much. You can even
create text ads with our online editor, place it on your site, receive FREE ad
credits for doing so and be part of an ad sharing network! So become part of
our great network of webmasters who operate as a team to support each other.
It is a great way to extend your current print or media ads. You can even make
money doing this by referring others to do the same.
We currently operate two internal exchanges for Free members;
1, Regular; Primarily used to increase search engine rankings. Open to all site types that meet our site policies. Regular Surf serves 3 external exchanges; Our banner exchange, mini banner exchange and the VS-Ten network of other sites like ours and reaching hundreds of thousands of prospective viewers.
2, Manual; Used for internal member networking and support. Open to
webmasters who reside in the North East USA area only! All sites must
meet our site policies. Manual Surf serves our local external text ad
exchange also capable of reaching hundreds of thousands of views.
Note; There are no ad placement restrictions on banners and text ads. They can be placed on any network.
We also operate an additional internal exchange for paid members:
Regular Paid to Surf; Primarily used to discover new products & services'. Participation can help reduce your service fee and/or use this local cash to buy more advertising though our internal credit system
Our External Independent Advertising Network;
Allow you the option of just placing advertisements OR place ads and participate in the exchange by placing a code onto your site after you customize it to match your site. The Spider Exchange has three separate ad type options (See below) and ads are served to various Surf For Local member's websites and blogs across the country. Our Parent Company (Eccentric Musician Co) publishes 2 music e-zines and currently displays these ads. When you place any one of these ad types you can show these ads to the external network by checking off 'Show External'.
The VS-Ten External Exchange;
'Surf For Local' participates in this exchange and our members have the option to show their ads by checking off 'show external' when managing their ads. While surfing you will see the VS-Ten Ads. The more of these ads views that our members see the more of our member's ads are seen across the entire VS-Ten Network of over 130 sites like 'Surf For Local'. It really comes down to surfing. The more we surf, the more ads get sent out. VS-Ten (VS-TREX) delivers about 250K to 350K views per day.
So how do you start?
After sign up you start by surfing the regular auto ad rotation network. You surf by going to your 'members area' and then by clicking onto the 'Regular Surf button'. For each site you view you gain credits into your account balance. You then simply assign these credits to your advertisements.

England area;
Every month we find 10 new local music
sites and host them here on SFL for 30 days. For every 10th paid
membership we host an additional new local music site on our house
account for 30 days. This activity accomplishes a few things, It helps
the music site gain exposure and increase their search engine rankings
and it increases our membership.
Music Site Webmasters;
New members are excluded from our 30 day
initiation period and are placed in the regular free membership once
their demographic location and websites are approved.
